In the early 90s, Pierre Bosc-Bierne discovered the candy stick. He had a crush on this shiny object, replacing the spoon in hot drinks, and that gave him the idea to adapt it for the espresso.
The small sugar cane, “canne à sucre” in French, will give its name to the brand : Canasuc.
Canasuc has evolved and has quickly become a unique creator, manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of innovative sugars: candy sticks, decorated sugar and moulded sugars, a Canasuc exclusivity.
The process of molding sugar is a valuable savoir-faire, based on over 20 years of experience, and a well kept secret.
A fully French process, in which sugarcane is shaped by hand. The experienced eye accompanies the gestures of the “moulder”, and dexterity, those of the “packers” who arrange all sugars by hand in their refined cases.
Canasuc regularly enriches its collection with new models, and its unique products are now available all around the world from, Paris to Tokyo! Canasuc sugars are also invited to the table of the great palaces and many chefs.
